Malvasia

Malvasia is a vine with ancient origins, whose presence in Romagna has been attested for centuries. This noble and historic vine owes its name to the Greek port of Monemvasia, located on the island of Candia, present-day Crete. The name Malvasia is used to refer to many vines, most of them white grapes, and the wines are obtained by drying the grapes in the sun.
